Their iconic logo resonates through the electronic music scene as a symbol of innovation, creative freedom, and authentic artistry. ICON Takeover at OWSLA Goods
With years of synergy quietly building between the two collectives, the time finally came to officially join forces.
Each quarter ICON Collective throws a ‘Takeover‘ party to welcome the incoming students. It also gives Alumni and industry friends a chance to connect outside the studio. In April, ICON teamed up with OWSLA Goods to host the event at their now-permanent pop-up shop in downtown Los Angeles. What was originally an abandoned gas station has since transformed into a full-time merch store. It’s also one of the most unique music venues in the city. It offers basketball hoops, bikes, and life-sized beer pong. This playful space gives guests an opportunity to truly become a kid again and have fun!
Moreover, the event featured an exciting lineup of ICON graduates that curated the night’s vibes. This included ATLAST, HVDES, KLAXX, Kompany, and TWO OWLS who all threw down a dynamic range of DJ sets.
Also, while the party kept going outside, fans flooded the merch room for the exclusive OWSLA x ICON shirt collab. The limited-edition piece features both brand logos and a graph symbolizing the upward trajectory of our future as inspired artists.
Furthermore, the night brought an inevitable wave of new music, friends, and memories from everyone at ICON, OWSLA, and beyond.
