Ample Sound | Ample Bass P Lite II

Ample Bass P Lite II aims to bring the Fender Precision Bass sound to your studio. The instrument is based on the legendary Fender Precision Bass, a four string electric bass guitar model that was first brought to the market back in 1951. If you’re looking for a free source of sampled electric bass guitar sounds, then this one is certainly worth a try. Ample Bass P Lite II also features a range of performance and fine-tuning controls as well as a tab panel for sequencing your bass parts.

Metric Halo | Thump

Thump is a unique audio processor that allows you to synthesize low-frequency audio. This sub-harmonic synth adds low frequencies to any sound needing a low-end boost. For example, Thump looks at the pitch and dynamics of its audio input and uses this information to generate low frequencies. It works great at injecting low-octave support into various drum sounds, basslines, pads, and more. Moreover, Thump is capable of recreating classic drum synths such as the TR-808 and many others. In other words, Thump is ideal for beefing up sounds.

u-he | Protoverb

Protoverb is an experimental delay based reverb designed to simulate room ambiances. Most algorithmic reverbs try to avoid resonances or model the reflections of sound from the walls of a room. However, Protoverb does the opposite. It builds up as many room resonances as possible, modeling the body of air in the room. The result is a very unique but natural sounding reverberation driven by some interesting control features.

Acon Digital | Multiply

Acon Digital Multiply is a versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice gets processed with a phase randomizing filter that supposedly avoids producing unpleasant comb filter effects. Multiply works amazingly well at widening and thickening up sounds. The effect can simulate up to six additional voices simultaneously. Once you stack your sounds, you can then modulate both the pitch and the loudness of the voices to give your sounds some enhancement. There is also an integrated equalizer and a pre-delay section for creating modulated or diffuse echo effects.
